So the Republican morons in the House of Representative
managed to shut our government down…and for what reason.
They say it is because of Obamacare but since Obamacare is
the law of the land; duly passed by Congress and approved by our Supreme Court;
are they trying to un-pass it?
You may not like the law but a law is a law. We see the same
thing with the abortion issue where abortions are legal and yet the
conservative twits pretend it is not and do everything in their power to make
it illegal.
Usually politicians use the threat of shutting down the
government to get what they want and in this case they want Obamacare postponed
for one year so they can get enough votes in the Senate to repeal it in 2014.
Well, that ain’t gonna happen so why put the country through this horseshit
which punishes us all as well as our economy which is still struggling.
The absurdity of the GOP action has even made other GOP
congressmen cringe and try to distance themselves from this nonsense but not
having enough balls to say that to close the government is wrong headed and
unproductive especially at this time in our recovery.
What the GOP is really, really scared of is that Obamacare
will become a huge success and just like Social Security and Medicare, will
always be associated with the Democrats as their law and their success.
I am not a fan of either party but I feel the Republicans
have to be punished for what they did to us and our country and the only way to
punish them is to vote them out of office.
I am talking about the House of Representatives and since
members stand for reelections every two years, we are close to another one in
2014. I will definitely do my part in tossing out the Republican moron that
represents me (even the state GOP is not supporting him) and give my vote to a
Democrat; any Democrat that runs.
