Re: Caricature controversy
Having now learned that the Koran does not expressly forbid images of Mohammad and that images of Muhammad are routinely found in the Muslim world, the violent reactions of Muslims to the Danish cartoon of Muhammad are even more ludicrous and reprehensible.
Muslim passions were inflamed by people seeking political gain. The fact that Muslims can be so easily manipulated by unscrupulous, so-called leaders is unfortunate and will be problematic as the cultures interact.
