The invasion of Gaza by Israel is dominating the news. The pressure on Israel to agree to a cease fire is tremendous. Pictures of dead children and crying parents dominate the newsreels. Israel keeps repeating that Hamas is hiding behind innocent children but that cannot compete with graphic pictures of blown up children.
France and Egypt proposed a cease fire agreement; Hamas said no – why? because Hamas wants dead and bludgeoned Palestinian children to dominate the world newscasts. Yes, they would rather win the propaganda war than save their children’s lives. I hope you now know who you are dealing with in Hamas.
Today, Israel has announced that three (3) hours will be devoted to humanitarian aid; no shelling or fighting. It appears that Israel will do this on a daily basis and they have so far but in today’s news it was obvious that Hamas used that “humanitarian” lull in the fighting to shoot more rockets at Israel.
My wife is at a peace rally that really is a pro-Palestinian rally or if you will; an anti-Israel rally. She admitted that she can see both sides of the issue but cannot tolerate the harming of innocent children and adults. Well, that is what Hamas is counting on.
I talked to a few people at work about this issue and many said that Hamas needs to be destroyed (as I have suggested) and they are willing to turn their heads while this is carried out so that the Hamas problem is not passed down to future generations. I have been hearing this sentiment more and more these days and not just about the Gaza / Hamas problem. Many are saying that we are just too kind and sensitive and we need to start kicking some ass or this crap will never end.
Well I cannot just close my eyes to the suffering of the innocents even as I want Hamas finally eradicated. The Palestinian people are too weak and disorganized to fight Hamas (they elected them) so someone else has to do the fighting for them and to put things right. Israel is doing just that and if they have the balls to carry this through to the bitter end, the Palestinian people will be better off.
I have heard that 45% of the population in Gaza are children. Can you picture this? Seems the adults are dead and only the children are left.
The Gaza Strip needs to be eradicated. People living there must be moved to the West Bank. From there people can emigrate to other Arab / Muslim countries or remain in the West Bank. A UN force must be permanently stationed in the West Bank top make sure rockets and suicide bombers are contained in the West Bank.
The West Bank needs to become the Palestinian homeland (Palestine) and money should be made available to make Palestine into a viable country.
Hamas and Hezbollah must be marginalized by all Arab or Muslim countries including IRAN. Anything less would mean a continuation of the slaughter of the innocents. It is about time that real adults, responsible adults take over and bring law and order back to the Middle East.
Of course, this is just a pipe dream of mine because I really do not see any responsible adults out there.
