As far as the race for Senator in Michigan , I have already voted for Debbie
Stabenow.
Stabenow has seniority in the Senate and has acquitted
herself very well in Congress. The Senate has to remain the congressional body
that can put a stop to the goofy laws coming out of the Republican controlled
House of Representatives.
These checks and balances are vital to the running of our
nation, preventing radicals from getting too far with their radical ideas; its
as if the Senate is acting like the adult in Washington , preventing the kids in the House
from hurting the nation too badly.
Pete Hoekstra, Stabenow’s Republican challenger is the
run-of-the-mill Tea Party, deeply conservative twit that makes noises like the rest of them. He is
nothing but a party follower that doers what he is told to do; no brains
required.
I urge my Michigan
neighbors to keep the Senate as is and re-elect Debbie Stabenow.
