I watched the documentary MEA MAXIMA CULPA: Silence in the
House of God by Alex Gibney about the molestation of deaf boys by Father
Lawrence Murphy for over 24 years and the cover-up by Catholic leaders that
allowed this crime to continue for so long.
I now feel that Benedict’s abrupt resignation may have
something to do with this documentary now that it is being distributed and
shown around the world.
Benedict is definitely implicated in a criminal cover-up in
this case and many others. The documentary also implicated the Polish Pope John
Paul II in cover-ups in other cases; both popes are therefore COMPLICIT in the
terrible crimes committed by pedophile priests.
The documentary also points at a reason Benedict put John
Paul on an incredibly fast road to sainthood; a road without precedent in
church history; Benedict wanted John Paul declared a saint before all the
sordid details came out about John Paul protecting molesters, especially
MARCIAL MACIEL of the LEGION OF CHRIST.
Benedict knew how bad and evil Marcial Maciel was and he
knew full well what he was accused of but could do nothing about it as long as
John Paul remained pope and Maciel’s protector. As soon as John Paul died,
Benedict immediately moved against Maciel (you can read more about this guy in
a 2012 blog).
Benedict’s resignation may only be the tip of the iceberg
and hiding in a monastery will not do him any good; the hands of justice will
find him as will the wrath of God…at least I hope so.
