Just heard this morning that the UAW is skipping Chrysler
and going right after Ford…why?
I told you before that Marchionne of Chrysler is not like
those Detroit pussies that give the UAW everything they want; Marchionne
marches to a different drummer and he will go to compulsory arbitration rather
than to do what he feels is not right for Chrysler; he does not give a shit
what GM settled for, times are different now…no more same old shit!
They gave Chrysler an extension on the contract till October
so they can concentrate of Ford.
Is Chrysler going to wait and see what Ford does? Don’t
forget that Ford can be struck but that would be the death knell for the UAW if
it came to that.
More details are coming out about the GM contract and there
are some good changes but I still believe GM gave out too much by increasing
wages for start-ups which impacts their fixed costs of building autos.
The drama continues…
