As happy as I was with Michigan “lame duck” Republicans passing the
right-to-work legislation, I was soon dramatically reminded that as much as I
agree with them on economic issues, they remain total and complete assholes on
social issues.
Again it’s the abortion issue that they just will not leave
alone even though it is the law of the land.
They passed legislation allowing health insurance plans to
deny abortion coverage if it conflicts with their values. Same goes for doctors,
pharmacists and the like.
Enough is enough. I realize these are lame duck Republicans
and many will not return in 2013 but to be so against what voters want
(pro-choice) is down right sickening and disturbing.
We need to clean out our legislature of assholes with
primitive and backward views on what we, as human beings, need to manage our
lives without interference from others.
