IRAQ: Civil war beginnings...

I have been blogging about the idiocy of the Iraq War for years now and repeating how a civil war there is inevitable and now, on the eve of our departure, the first signs.

We are leaving an airbase in the northern city of Kirkuk and when the Iraqi army came to assume control of the base, the Kurdish police force stood in their way. Only after cooler heads prevailed was the situation diffused…but not for long.
