Image via WikipediaI have written on many occasions how I detest Obama’s pro-union stance and his constant attempts at helping the unions grow or shall we say survive, since many of those unions are dying and should be allowed to die peacefully and get the hell out of the nation’s hair.
But Obama feels he owes something to the unions as all Democrats do? What? Unions don’t control votes and that has been proven over and over again; union workers vote for whomever the hell they want to.
Unions do have money and maybe that is what Obama is doing this nonsense for. I don’t understand why Obama keeps pushing unionization when he knows full well that the country is sick and tired of greedy, lazy-ass, corrupt unions messing with our economy. In fact, many states are going bankrupt trying to pay inflated public union wages, benefits and pensions; states are considering just cutting those unions off.
Now Obama has decided to allow AIRPORT SCREENERS to unionize. The TSA is quick to point out that the unions would have limited issues they could bargain on after all the TSA protects American lives and can not be open to work slowdowns or strikes or deliberate worker sabotage of equipment to get their demands met…oh no!
Teachers cannot legally strike BUT THEY DO and so will the airport screeners and when they do you will have to resurrect Ronald Reagan to fire the whole bunch of them as he did the air-traffic controllers who also were not allowed to strike either because if they did the country and all its citizens would be seriously disrupted.
I hope the Republicans and Democrats with a brain stop this madness from happening. I do not want my flight to be cancelled because airport screeners decided they would go on strike!
This is another strike against OBAMA in my book and he is going to have to weigh in the next campaign just how many votes he will lose due to his union ass-kissing. Americans want their economy back and they know they will not get it back if unions are allowed to keep sucking the life out of that economy.
