PROPOSAL 4: HOME CARE WORKER RIGHTS.
This is another
union scam.
The only worker rights being violated is by the union, denying the workers the right NOT TO JOIN THEIR UNION...
The proposal is
called AFFORDABLE QUALITY HOME CARE and is anything but.
Anyway, these low
paid workers get reimbursed by Medicaid. The SEIU (Service Employees
International Union) has for years taken money out of these low paid worker’s
paychecks, for union dues even though those workers claimed they were never in
a union.
When the state
legislature stopped the union from basically “stealing” money from these
worker’s paychecks, the union decided to place their stealing into our constitution
and make their stealing legal.
The union claims it
will register all home care workers into the MICHIGAN QUALITY HOME CARE COUNCIL
and provide background checks of all registrants which would provide extra
safety for the elderly using these individuals.
Well MEDICARE
already has a program.
The union has stolen
over $30 million from these workers since 2006 before the state legislature put
a stop to the theft so now the union is seeking FORCED UNIONIZATION by making
it a constitutional mandate.
To me this union
attempt to steal money from lowly paid workers should be a crime instead of a
constitutional mandate.
Vote NO on this
greedy union money grab…they should be ashamed of themselves.
