I was a little stunned but probably should not be surprised
that the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops placed a full page, color
ad in all the newspapers on the day before our elections, calling for Religious
Freedom which they maintain is being violated by the Obama administration by
insisting that contraception be covered in health insurance plans.
This is another “undisguised” attempt by a religious
organization to influence our elections which they are prohibited from doing
through IRS laws…which, as I have pointed out, not enforced by either Democrats
or Republicans.
My blood boils when I see this because our Founding Fathers
worked so hard at trying to prevent this from ever happening. Our Founding
Fathers knew what happened to countries that allowed religion to rule and we in
2012 know full well what happens when religion rules as in the theocracy in Iran , the sectarian violence in other Middle East countries, the crimes against humanity
perpetrated by the Taliban and al-Qaeda and the list goes on and on and on…
You would think that we would learn from history, our own
and world history as well as current history what a hell hole we are entering
if we allow religions to dictate our laws.
Voting for Romney is voting for RELIGIOUS TYRANNY and not
RELIGIOUS FREEDOM.
WE HAVE A RIGHT TO BE FREE FROM RELIGIOUS TYRANNY…
